A protest against Abortion

I am organizing a peaceful protest against abortion, and the Roe vs Wade decision that made abortion legal, on January 22, 1973. Since abortion was legalized, 46 million abortions have been performed!! Thats 46 Million babies murdered, in the name of choice!!! If you are like me, and you cant sit around, while this brutality continues, then join me...hold a sign, pass out abortion tracts, share the truth with people. This protest will be held at a planned parenthood facility, that performs abortions. Please, join me!!! I am willing to stand out in the cold, and take a stand against this murdering of babies....will you join me?

In Christ,
~Jodi~

Fatherhood

Fatherhood

One of the greatest joys in life is to be a father. The special bond a father has with their children is indescribable. Fatherhood is a great honor; however, fatherhood has been severely neglected. One out of three children lives in a biological absent home. Consequently, there is a father factor in most American Social issues today. What has happened to cause men to abandon their responsibility? It’s important that fathers add the most important letter to their title, dad. In order for Fathers to embrace fatherhood, they need to be involved, show responsibility, and commitment.

A father needs to be involved in the lives of their children. Some children grow up with little or no contact with their father. The family unit has suffered greatly in America. Children need support; fathers need to love their children. The children suffer with no father influence; accordingly, the children struggle with depression and other social issues. Some children turn to crime and suicide. Many social issues can be prevented if the father is involved.

A man needs to be responsible for his actions. A man’s life changes when he has children. He can no longer think about himself. He needs to be responsible and provide for his offspring. In our society, fathers are not being responsible as fathers. It seems like they run away from fatherhood! Our society needs to teach men how to be better men; nonetheless, the issues that plague fatherhood would be rectified if dealt with correctly.

The most important thing for a father is commitment. A child needs to know if their father will be there for them. There is a noticeable difference when children know their father cares. Every child needs security; a child must know they’re loved. It’s important a father spends time with their children, and relates to them on a childlike level.

Finally, one of the greatest joys for a man is to be a father. In order to be a good dad a father needs to be involved, show responsibility, and commitment. The world cannot have enough good dads. Our society would change if dad would become the superman we’ve envisioned him to be. It would be neat to see children running to their father for love and security; as a result, the child would believe their father is a super hero. Are you that superman for your children? If you’re a father, are you a super hero or a villain to your children?
