Jehovah's Witnesses-part 1

I would like to write about the Jehovah's Witnesses religion. I have read the " World Religions in a Nutshell" book and studied about this religion, and I would like to write down some key points about it. :>) I also have a few of my relatives who are Jehovah Witnesses, so I desire to reach them, and it hits close to home for me.

• Jehovah Witness religion was started by a man named Charles Russell, about 130 yrs ago. He rejected what his church taught re. Hell, and other key Christian doctrines. He started a Bible study which grew and eventually became the Jehovah Witnesses. He even publised his own Magazine, called the Watchtower, which, by the way, is the same magazine that is passed out today by millions of JW's, all around the world, which contains there false beliefs. I call it Doctrine of Demons!
• They have their own Bible called the "New World Translation" and this Bible very clearly goes against what the Holy Christian Bible says is true. Their Bible alters alot of their verses as well.
• JW's reject the Christian belief of the Trinity- God the Father, God the Son, & God the Holy Spirit. They believe that Jesus was just a created being, and not incarnate, or spiritual, God.
• JW's believe that Jesus was created, and He was Michael the archangel before He came to earth. They also believe that He became the Messiah when He was baptized, and He was anointed to become King. They also deny the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and say that God got rid of his body, and he was raised as a spiritual being. Now they believe that He is once again Michael the archangel.
• They deny the existence of Hell...as did the founder of this demonic religion Charles Russell. (One of Satans greatest lies is that Hell does not exist, and another one, is that he himself (satan) does not exist, or that he has no power). They believe in the 144,000 who are going to Heaven, that these people are the anointed ones.

66 Cent Gospel

66 Cent Gospel

My wife and I have a praise report... Friday August 27, 2010, we witnessed to a homeless veteran named Steve. He said that people call him "Meatball." Before we talked to Steve, My wife and I went to the local CVS store, and bought a 66 cent Arizona Ice Tea drink. We then went outside... and gave the 66 Cent Arizona Ice Tea drink to Steve. The Lord wants us to cafe for the poor, and I believe we did that with Steve. The Homeless need the Lord! Steve was able to open up more, because we showed him we cared!! We ask that you pray for Steve and the town of Northampton. Praise God for His Word, that never goes void!!

What is Worship?

What is worship? That may seem like a stupid question, but its something that I think about often, and ponder in my brain. If we take the American churches definition of worship, which is going to service on Sundays and Wednesday nights, standing and singing a few songs, while a band plays, and a worship leader leads everyone, in what we call "worship," then we sit and hear a sermon. After the sermon is over, we shake hands with some fellow friends and Christians, say goodbye, walk out the door, and live our daily lives. Is this Gods defintion of worship? Is this how he designed us to function, and worship Him? A once a week, or twice a week, experience? Or is it supposed to be something more? I believe that the way we are to worship God, is way more than singing. Singing with our voices, is a small part of worship, and a very small portion at that. I believe that how we live our daily lives, from when we wake up in the morning, to when we go to bed at night, is to be our act of worship before God. By our lives being an act of worship before God, we are then able to show the world who Jesus is, by how we live our lives. How else will the world know Him, unless we tell them, and show by how we live our lives, that Jesus is in us, and He is the light?

For example: about worship- I was thinking about this today...if I could never speak again, and I was mute, could I still worship God? Yes! If I was deaf,blind and mute, could I still worship God? Yes!! Would he still be glorified by my life? Yes! If I had a gun put to my head, and told I could never speak the name of Jesus again, could I still worship Him? Yes!! How??? If worship is all about singing songs to Jesus, how could I worship Him? Because, true worship, is all about the HEART!! Your heart before God, your life, and how u live it!! If I could never speak again, I would truly know, what it means to worship God. Take away the music, the musicians, the pretty stage in church, the worship leaders, and the church building, the pews and hymnal books....what do u have left? U have a perfect setting to worship God! U have you, and God!! Thats all u need!! You dont need a beautiful singing voice, or need to be in a choir....all you need is a heart that loves Jesus, and desires Him above all else, and your life, that you live every day, will reflect that! :>) Jesus never sang any songs to His heavenly Father while on Earth, yet His Father was glorified in His life. How? By how he lived His life each day.

Summer Reflection

It's been a while since I've been on "Blogger". I hope to be on here more... since the Lord has blessed us with a better computer. There's many stores to tell... The Springfield, Mass Pancake breakfast, 4th of July celebration in Springfield and East Longmeadow, Mass and Enfield, CT. Also, the ministry in Northampton and Holyoke, Mass. Oh, we can't forget Hartford, CT too. The Lord is faithful! Pray that God will continue to open doors! Pray that "His" seed of the Word of God would do it's work in the Hearts of the people... Amen.
